Scientific Award

Some of our works have been recognized in the scientific world.

Best work awards in the XX Brazil MRS Meeting
SBPMAT - Brazil MRS - 2022

The work entitled "Thermoluminescence properties of Al2O3:C laser sintered ceramic under X-rays and beta irradiation" presented by Matheus Cavalcanti dos Santos Nunes and having as authors: Matheus Cavalcanti dos Santos Nunes, Ronaldo Santos da Silva, Elisabeth Mateus Yoshimura, Neilo Marcos Trindade, received the prize of best Pôster (Bernhard Gross Award) presentation of Symposium H - Radiation Detectors at the XX B-MRS Meeting, held in Foz do Iguaçu-PR, from 25th to 29th of September 2022. In addition, the same work has been awarded a Royal Society of Chemistry joint journals poster prize.  

The other work "Thermoluminescence properties of alexandrite under beta, ultraviolet and X-ray irradiation", presented by Alexia Oliveira Silva and having as authors: Alexia Oliveira Silva, Matheus Cavalcanti dos Santos Nunes, Elisabeth Mateus Yoshimura, Carina Ulsen, Melina Mara de Souza, Neilo Marcos Trindade, received the prize of best Oral (Bernhard Gross Award) presentation of Symposium H - Radiation Detectors, in the same conference.

The works were supported by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

The work entitled "Investigation of Optically Stimulated Luminescence of Alexandrite Pellets for Applications in the Dosimetry", presented by the undergraduate student in Physics, Matheus C. S. Nunes, and supervised by Ph.D. Neilo M. Trindade, was awarded as the best work in the field of Medical Physics. Also contributed to the work, the authors Luan S. Lima (USP), Ph.D. Anna Luiza M. C. Malthez (UTFPR) and Ph.D. Elisabeth M. Yoshimura (USP). The work was supported by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

Best work in the area of ​​Exact Sciences and Health 
VII Congress of Scientific Initiation of the IFSP - 2019

The project entitled “Investigation of Alexandrite's Thermoluminescence”  was awarded the title of “Best work in the area of ​​Exact Sciences and Health”, developed by the undergraduate student in Physics, Stephanie L. Dardengo, under the supervision of Ph.D. Neilo M. Trindade.  The project also has the collaboration of the undergraduate student in Physics, Matheus C. S. Nunes,  and the Ph.D. Elisabeth M. Yoshimura (USP). The work was supported by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
